Other news: Holy crap! It would seem that I’ve finally sobered up after last weekend’s booze-fuelled events. Had an awesome stag night for senor Tony, where we managed to fill his poor brain with enough beer and jager to sink a hippo. Jagertastic!

Other other news: I got another single-page comic on the way, I’ve got a non-stag-do related weekend off coming up so I’ll be able to maybe get it inked.

It’s been a fairly epic competition this year, what with the whole showerhobo thing and people winning but hiding (Nobody seen Maggie yet? No?), but I can draw things to their messy solution with this piece that landed at poor Mr. Scob’s front door just now:

As you might have noticed, my new more-than-once-a-month posting schedule has taken a bit of  a hit, I’m fairly sure it’s all down to one thing: I am still a damned showerhobo. I seem to have the world’s slowest builders, as during the whole of Monday they successfully nailed two whole sheets of plywood to the floor. This does not make me a happy Shetland, but I just don’t have the time to dig a tiger pit for them so I guess I just have to wait till they finish. Wetwipes all round!

And today I got to the museum. There was Aurochs heid!

This is a model of a sea scorpion, it is the same size as the fossil next to it at about four feet long. Wikipedia also reckons there was a different one of these that was eight feet of terror pure awesome. Sorry giant isopods, you are no longer my favourite marine crawly thing.

There was a lack of car accidents today, which was nice. It’s kind of refreshing being bathroomshowerhobo, I get to actually be outside and stuff, and being away from the internets and the PS3 is more than making up in productivity terms for all the walking I’m doing. So this hasn’t come true at least:

That one’s from a couple of weeks back, but thanks to a viciously-enforced ‘No videogames before dark’ policy my thumbs remain in proportion. While I was out I re-worked a piece I found in an old sketchbook as well:

Tomorrow: in an attempt to lower my caffeine intake slightly I will be forsaking the cafes and pubs for whatever museums can tolerate my stink. See you there!

Edit: ‘CE’ is the EU child safety certificate for toys and stuff, but explaining things to idiots wasn’t in my job description. She bought a board game instead, and I had the damndest time not showing her that the mark was on that as well…
