hey everybody, it looks like this’ll be my last post before christmas. I was planning to get something snazzy together for you but I’ve had the crazy lurgy since saturday and I’m only just out of bed and back to shuffling around, so you’ll have to content yourselves with my favourite cetacean:

This time yesterday I finished a week of 8pm - 8am nightshifts, I’m not really sure what day it is any more?
I’m about to get an introduction to the world of staying awake 8pm-8am without the aid of alcohol. This is going to sting, yes? ah well, here’s a sad pirate cowgirl clown:

Well I’ve had four hours sleep in two nights and it seems to be half past eleven already so I’ll make this quick - the incredibly irresponsible Evan Dahm of Rice Boy (link is down the side) is making a bit of a habit of throwing competitions. This one is to colour a picture. Well I’ve never needed an excuse to break out the crayons, and here is the result:
this is the main reason I prefer paints to using the computer - it’d take me forever to get that effect with pixels, and I know you can just go back and fix any bad pixels but I’m pretty sure messing up is half the fun.Sleep for me! I’ll see you guys when I’m feeling a bit less weird in the head
- I got a day off! Yesssssss! I’ve successfully managed to do pretty much nothing so far as well, other than this piece of monsterness for this competition from Order of Tales, which is the shiny new project from Evan Dahm who does Rice Boy
this is what I reckon somebody called Warlord Shureg should look like. I would guess his grasp of social skills is tenuous at best, but who cares about that when your favourite hobby is impaling people in the gizzard*?
*if gizzards are unavailable he has been known to club his differently-specied subjects to death with a passing folk singer
the walrus is getting interrupted and so is everything else - I’ll be offline till the 28th at least it would seem, I’ll see you all then hopefully…

- Right you guys to relieve the crushing boredom I am going to have a caption competition this week, it’s gonna be bloody and not all of you will get back in one piece but I’m pretty sure it’ll be worth it in the end. The deal is that every day this week, I’m going to post a different picture here for your commenting pleasure. Once everything’s up I’ll give a few days for you all to think up stuffs, then the winners will get… well there’s a couple of possibilities because like always I haven’t thought this one through yet, but I’m pretty sure it’ll involve posting stuff* out to whoever’s daft enough to win.
