It looks like I’ve mostly won my epic struggle against this damn CSS thingy. I say ‘mostly’, you might have noticed that the sidebar has wandered off to the bottom of the page without telling anybody. This is a model of a sea scorpion, it is the same size as the fossil next to it at about four feet long. Wikipedia also reckons there was a different one of these that was eight feet of terror pure awesome. Sorry giant isopods, you are no longer my favourite marine crawly thing.

I’m still alive! It seems to be three weeks since I last posted? I think the new job has kidnapped my brain. And as well the new flat needs much working on – I got to rip up the laminate floor and tear out the crazy formica cupboard, which makes things look a shitload better. No photos though because my camera has slipped into an unexpected coma, and new batteries were no help at all – who knows where I can find a good camera doctor in Edinburgh? No sketchy goodness either just yet, the tiny scraps of spare time I have get spent on a couple of projects that won’t be ready for a good while yet. Oh wait! I was at the ZOO! There was a RHINO’S ARSE!

I have also recently found an art shop that does more than just black printing ink. ‘ve tried a bunch of other ways to get round the just-black-ink problem, but they all died horribly cause of being too thick or thin to print with. This, though, is much more promising:
